Here is a collection of my writing. The list is not really very extensive at the moment as I’m adding these pages slowly from my old site. My writing tends to be everywhere and mostly incomplete so more will be added as I find and finish it.

STORIES

The Skies Above (2007) is a new story, as yet incomplete. You may have read the first two parts in my blog. Further updates will be posted straight here.
Not The Man You Were (2007) is a short story I wrote after pondering the essence of the traditional hero’s power.
Binary Bestseller (2004) is a novel (in progress) about a down-and-out publishing company which hires a robot to write it’s books and so rescue the company from certain bankruptcy. The only problem is, robots don’t know how to write books. It falls on Tina Merry, the editor in chief to teach the robot to write, and save the company from it’s biggest liability, her boss.

The Contest (2000) is Seinfeld crossed with The Onion. For those who don’t know, ‘The Contest’ is an episode of Seinfeld written by Larry David and The Onion is a newspaper with fake humorous stories.

The Cry of the Gulls (1997) is a short story I wrote after reading The Handsomest Drowned Man in the World by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. In the same village as the original story, a letter is found on the beach revealing a shocking detail about Esteban.

Bad Spells (1996) is the introduction to a story I was going to write about wizards and heroes. I think it must’ve been written shortly after getting hooked on Terry Pratchett’s Discworld, because it has a strikingly similar style to those books.
